Clara Mae Wisener, 80, of Burlington, died at 7:00 AM Saturday, September 26, 2009, at the Great River Medical Center - Klein Center.

Born June 11, 1929, in Des Moines County, IA, she was the daughter of Daniel William and Ruth Ann McCracken Fye. On February 12, 1947, she married Johnny Albert Wisener in Oquawka, IL. He died March 19, 1983.

Clara Mae was a homemaker and a caregiver.
She attended Burlington Baptist Church and New Life Family Church. She was a former member of the Red Hat Society. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, enjoyed reading romance novels and the Bible. She liked traveling, cats and listening to music. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Judd of Burlington and Linda (Mike) Ashford of Hiawatha; three sons, Raymond (Donna) Wisener, Edward (Betty) Wisener and Bob (Sue) Wisener all of Burlington; 21 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren; two brothers, Don Fye of Lebanon, OR and Sam Fye of Kansas City, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and seven brothers.

The Funeral Service for Mrs. Wisener will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 29, 2009, at the Hass-Thielen Funeral Home with Pastor Kendall Adams officiating. Interment will be in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
