Mia Grace Gerstel, daughter of Jason M. and Miranda L. York Gerstel of Burlington, was delivered stillborn at 10:46 AM Thursday, October 29, 2009, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

Survivors include her parents; one brother, Austin Gerstel and one sister, Hailey Gerstel at home; maternal grandparents, Dave and Robin York of Burlington; paternal grandparents, Phillip and Teea Gerstel of Burlington; maternal great-grandparents, Ed and Jean York of Burlington; maternal great-grandmother, Tessie Bergquist of Burlington; maternal aunt, Cary and Jeremy Skeens of Burlington; two paternal uncles, Jeremy Gerstel and Jacob Gerstel, both of Burlington; paternal aunt, Jill and Chad Etchison of West Burlington, IA; and five cousins, Gabryella, Shannan, Hayden, Makenna, and Ali.

She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents and maternal great-grandfather.

The Private Family Graveside Committal Service and Interment for Mia will be Monday, November 2, 2009, at Aspen Grove Cemetery with Rev. Daniel R. Siems officiating.
