Randy R. Trueblood, 49, of Keokuk, formerly of Burlington, died at 6:35 PM Monday, February 22, 2010, at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk.

Born December 21, 1960, in Burlington, he was the son of Ray L. and Mary A. Bankson Trueblood.

Randy attended Hope Haven School and then worked in the activities center. He had participated in the Special Olympics and won a trip to state.
Randy was a member of the Church of the Open Bible. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan, and a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed watching car races, Wheel of Fortune, he especially liked Vanna White, listening to music, watching people, and loved to watch his brothers play basketball. He also enjoyed wrestling with his brothers in his younger years, especially with his brother Greg.

Survivors include his parents, Ray and Mary Trueblood of Burlington; four brothers, Lee Trueblood of Columbus, OH, Greg (Becky) Trueblood of Clive, IA, Gary (Kathy) Trueblood of Burlington, Allen (Kathy) Trueblood of Cedar Rapids; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one brother, Jeffery.

Visitation will be from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM with the family to receive friends from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM Friday, February 26, 2010 at the Hass-Thielen Funeral Home.
The Funeral Service for Mr. Trueblood will be 10:30 AM Friday, February 26, 2010, at the Hass-Thielen Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Hornback officiating. Interment will be in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for Hope Haven's Building Hope Capital Fund Drive.
