Dawn Michaelle Francis, 38, of Burlington, died at 1:07 AM Saturday, May 15, 2010, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born April 4, 1972, in Boulder, CO, she was the daughter of Jack R. and Carmen Palmer Francis. She married Darrell Irla, they divorced. She later married Brian Potter, they divorced.

Dawn was a traveling respiratory therapist.
She was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed reading, gardening and shopping.

Survivors include her father, Jack Francis of Burlington; her mother, Carmen Francis of Longmont, CO; three sons, Darrell Joe "D.J." Irla, Aaron Michael Irla, and Michael James Potter, all at home; four brothers, Robert Ealey of Longmont, CO, Richard Ealey of Cheyanne, WY, Roy "Tommy" Burns of Longview, TX, and Dan Gilbert of Sturgeon, WI; three sisters, Jacqueline Smith of Texarkana, AK, Marilyn Finney of Longmont, CO, and Theresa Gamino of San Jose, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, one brother, Donald Gilbert, and one niece, Tanya Ealey.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at the Hass-Thielen Funeral Home.
Cremation will be accorded after the visitation.
Inurnment for Dawn will be at a later date at Mountain View Cemetery, Longmont, CO.
