Brandon "Big Cat" William Samuel Carlisle, 24, of Burlington, was found dead, Tuesday, June 1, 2010, in Burlington.

Born April 16, 1986, in Davenport, IA, he was the son of Curtis Samuel and Dana Marie Cook Carlisle.

Brandon had worked at several factories.
He was a 2004 graduate of Burlington High School.
He enjoyed frisbee golf, spending time at his grandparents' cabin in Minnesota, hanging out with his friends, listening to music, playing X-Box, and was a Miami Dolphins football fan. He especially enjoyed spending time with his daughter and niece.

Survivors include his mother, Dana Marie Carlisle of Burlington; one daughter, Danycia "Dany" Altemus-Carlisle of Burlington; maternal grandparents, Michael and Gloria Bowker, of Des Moines, IA; paternal grandparents, Chet and Carol Carlisle of Davenport, IA; maternal step great-grandmother, Dorothy Stanger, of Davenport, IA; paternal step-great-grandmother, Clarene Carlisle of Des Moines, IA; one sister, Ashly (Ryan Renard) Carlisle of Burlington; one niece, Bailee Renard of Burlington; one niece due in July; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, great-grandparents, and one cousin.

Cremation has been accorded.
A celebration of Brandon's life will be from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM, Sunday, June 6, 2010, at the small shelter house at Dankwart Park.
A memorial has been established for his daughter, Dany.
