Jacqueline Leigh Braun, 28, of Burlington, died Monday, June 14, 2010, in Burlington.

Born March 7, 1982, in Iowa City , IA, she was the daughter of Michael Joseph and Brenda Kay Parrish Braun.
|
She attended the Union Church of LaHarpe. She enjoyed music, writing poetry and loved animals.
|
Survivors include her father, Michael Joseph Braun of Amboy, WA; her mother and stepfather, David and Brenda Murphy of Burlington; maternal grandmother, Nancy Lu Parrish of LaHarpe, IL; paternal grandparents, Michael and Barbara Braun of Brush Prairie, WA; paternal step-grandparents, Herbert and Eleanor Murphy of Burlington; one brother, Christopher M. Braun of Burlington; one step-sister, Jamie Lee Murphy of Burlington; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather.

There will be no visitation.
The Private Family Funeral Service for Jacqueline will be Thursday, June 17, 2010 at the Hass-Thielen Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Goettsche officiating. Interment will be in Shiloh Cemetery in Middletown.
A memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society.
